Irregular pits and solutions for injection molded products
In fact, when the melt flows in the cavity, due to the sudden change of the structure of the part, or the plastic is easy to crystallize and cure, the front pressure loss is too large, resulting in the flow of the front melt gradually thinning and curing stops, and then the melt flows from other directions, re-coating the previously cured front, when the front cannot be completely covered, it causes irregular sinks.
Common solutions for irregular sinks in plastic parts are:
(1) Reduce the injection speed.
(2) Increase the injection pressure, especially the injection end or holding pressure.
(3) Avoid too much change in the thickness of the part or sudden change in structure.
(4) Improve material fluidity.
